Do you need a 4x4 to reach the Boshuis?

We recommend using a higher car, like an SUV or bakkie. The dirt road to the farm office is perfectly accessible by all vehicles, but then the rest of the way to the boshuis is slightly more rocky and you need to cross two low-lying bridges.

Do you have braai facilities?

At the Beach House units we have a built-in wood braai on the patio for unit 11A and a fire pit / wood braai for unit 11B. At the Boshuis we have an indoor built-in wood braai on the patio and outdoors we have a fire pit and wood burning pizza oven.

We have everything you need to start your braai.

Do you serve meals?

Unfortunately not, all our units are self-catering.

Are the units child friendly?

Yes, we encourage family holidays, so please feel free to bring children along. Please be aware that the Boshuis is situated close to a small river and there are dams on the farm, so please watch your children carefully. The Beach house units are 50m from Glentana beach and children should always be watched as currents can be strong. For swimming, please walk along the beach (turn left as your get onto the beach off the private walkway) towards the main beach where life guards are always on duty. Glentana Beach is a blue flag beach.

Are the units pet friendly?

Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets in any of our units.

How many units are there?

We have three self-catering units:

  • The Boshuis sleeps 4 persons in two en-suite bedrooms
  • The Beach house 11A sleeps 6 persons in three en-suite bedrooms
  • The Beach house 11B sleeps 4 persons in two en-suite bedrooms
What is the Cancellation and Payment Policy?

Payment policy:

To secure your stay a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The balance of the booking amount must be paid in full to Sanjika Escapes, one calendar month before arrival. In the event of a booking made within one month before arrival, the entire booking amount must be paid immediately. In the case of late or incomplete payment, you are in default and we will then reserve the right to cancel the booking.

Cancellation terms:

  • If cancelling 30 days or less before arrival, forfeit 100% of booking.
  • If cancelling 30 days or more before arrival, forfeit 50% of booking.
  • No refunds will be made for bookings made over peak periods (i.e long weekends and holidays).
